Hmmm, is this a good news? If I plug my Clip into a Pico amp, I almost get a Hifiman, but cheaper?

What? absolutely not

All I'm saying is that the regular onboard amp is as good as the pico amp.

The DAC is pretty amazing on this. I have a modded Wadia 27, Balancing Act, and HD800 and the Hifiman is pretty close although I do think my non-portable rig is somewhat better but it's still relatively close.

If you are using the JH-13's or the UE 10/11's, follow the NYC Meet thread impressions this weekend,
because Fang said both amps will be there in 2 different players for comparison.
I had the IEM amp module for a week, and it was a match made in heaven with the 13's.
I can't wait to try it with my new TWag cable (getting it back at the meet).

Fang, please put me down for one when they are available to the public.

No need. I'm getting the Protector in a couple of days. It should be interesting for a possible upgrade way down the road though.
