Sorry that recommendation did not work out for you! Yeah clamp force is increased, but for me that was offset by not having my ears touch the inside of the cup. As to sound & soundstage differences, I was able with very minimal EQ to get the earphones where I wanted them, which wasn’t a big deal to me since I needed to EQ even with stock pads.

Anyway, I hope that you enjoy the Maxwells regardless of what pads you settle on!
Nothing to be sorry for :) still a thanks for the recommendation, things like that just need personal testing
Also i enjoy the stock Audeze tuning the most so far, maybe thats why i was never fully satisfied with EQ + Pad changes.
One thing i'll try out will be the Dekoni Pads, which should be released by the end of this month :D

Something is wrong with my Maxwell. I have it only for a few months but suddenly one side of the headphone stopped working and the volume on the other side became extremely loud even on low volume setting. Not sure if this is a software issue or if the driver really just died. Factory reset did nothing.

Guys, anyone here use Maxwell for work using Microsoft Teams? If yes, are you able to use the dongle with it? I have so many connection issues with Dongle and BT into Microsoft Teams.... just wanna here if anyone here has the same issues.

Yeah, I use it as my main headset for work with the dongle and we use Teams. Never had any issues.

I use it with Microsoft teams almost every day. Primarily with the dongle.

We recommend not having the dongle and BT connections paired to the same source as that can cause conflicts.

Use BT for secondary external devices (i.e. phones/tablets), and the dongle/usb wired for main devices.

I had issues with my launch PS Maxwell where I'd join a teams call and all would work, leave a call and the mic wouldn't work in the next call right after. Constantly had issues with the mic and occasionally with sound for both the dongle and bluetooth (using only 1 or the other). I have an XBOX maxwell and I switched to that for my work pc and haven't had any issues since.

I'll try tomorrow connecting only the dongle and disconnect the BT. Another question, into that you guys use the Game or Chat ( for Audio and for Mic )? Just to be sure. Last time I tried(but BT was connected) I just could with any one them. No sound at all.

Using Game or Chat doesn't matter. They're just two separate connections we labelled for distinction, so you can use one for main audio, and the other for communications/or secondary audio, like programs that are able adjust which audio device is being used for that specific program, like Skype, or Discord, etc.. That way you can balance between the Main audio source, and the secondary source with the lower wheel on the headset.

We call them Game/Chat, but you can consider it Audio Source 1/Audio Source 2 or Main Audio/Secondary Audio, etc. Game/Chat seems easiest to understand as we targeted the headset for gamers first and foremost. There's nothing stopping you from using 'Chat' for Main Audio, and 'Game' for Chat audio if you wanted to.

I had the strangest thing yesterday with my Maxwells. The right earcup was way louder than my left one. Tried a lot of things, on USB C the problem was not there, only on the Dongle connection. Found out that in windows audio settings under output, the left channel was set at 27% volume, and the right channels was at 67%. Spend like 30 minutes, flashing firmware ect to find this stupid setting in windows. Got no clue to how it got changed. 😂
