Not sure if I can't read correctly anymore but is there a dedicated line out or not on this new unit?

Also, seems like an R2R option DAC is in the works, can we expect that within months or it is just something that is not even sure to come out?

There are both 3.5mm and 4.4mm line inputs / outputs. If you want to use one of the line outs, you have to use the built-in DAC.

Thanks for the questions. In addition to what was said in the previous response, the DAC card will have AK4499EX and BD34301 at the end of the month. Regarding the R2R, there may be in the future.

I saw your review and noticed there was a issue between the SS3602's and the XD05 Pro that caused the PROTECT error. Has this been addressed? Can you still use the XD05 Pro once this occurs - is there a way to reset it? I would love to upgrade to the SS3602's but want to make sure it really works. Thanks!
