I am perfectly happy with Mason ATM. I wouldn’t say it can replace Traillii - they are just two very very different products.

The FS has grown on me in the past few days since I am better getting to understand its “personality”.

If you have been listening solely to FS, it will be a fun exercise to switch back to some other IEMs, and you will find the difference to be shocking.

For example, I tried out Sultan last night after a long session with FS. Before that, I would never have described Sultan’s vocal to be thin - it is in fact Sultan’s strength. However, a direct A/B with FS made Sultan’s vocal sounded thin, harsh, and a bit inconsistent.

So far I’m very happy as well though the change in tone I’m hearing from burn-in wasn’t expected, so my ears are adjusting. Once the FS is fully settled, I will do comparisons with some of my other iems …
