In case anyone is curious, the pins on this cable do fit, but it’s very tight. The cable sounds good to me, no major issues. The IEM itself sounds glorious.
A lot of 2 pin cables fit very tightly the 3DT it seems. The nature of the sockets. Just use caution.

This reminds me why I loathe 2-pin connectors. I’m practically giving myself a hernia taking these on and off the third party balanced cable. Meanwhile the right channel IEM has already slipped clean off the stock cable during handling. Give me MMCX any day.

My PWAudio 1% cable is too loose....my ForzaWorks fits perfect...

BTW, can confirm that KBEar cables do fit right, nicely tight and secure: got a chance to buy Limpid Pro in local classifieds while waiting for my Rhyme order to arrive.
Also YY 5N UPOCC special deal ~$35 is about to start on Ali tomorrow, gonna buy one for my MMCX IEM

Well, I hope that the difference between that one and Rhyme should be not that great as latter is already somewhere in between HK and RU :)

No worries, the Rhyme is a good cable.

That is a good price I might have to spring for one myself.

Wow....
Allan Taylor "The Sky"
Love the soundstage, clarity, detail and layering... Beautiful.
One thing that stands out is the coherence of the stage, how the sounds move around seamlesslyfrom left side to side, front to back. It's like the inner eye can follow them meandering across the stage.
The other things that keep striking me are the combination of smoothness and detail. No BA dryness, no smearing, everything is organic, melodic, yet still very clear.

After getting the UM 3DT I started bringing the Hugo 2 to work despite its size, because it's such an amazing combo with the 3DT.
It is an intense pairing and sometimes I switch to the relaxed and more comfortable IER-M9, but otherwise the H2-3DT is now my favorite setup.
Need to change my Avatar...

I've noticed that the 3DT is matybe the only IEM I own that is so pickly with the source.
I have tried so hard on my P2mkII without jeteffects to find that bass I was hearing on my computer when burning them in.
On the computer, with the SoundBlaster Z card I get incredible bass. One the P2mkII it was less. I tried tips, cables, thought I'd gone deaf or somehow destroyed the IEMs as iI left them play overnight. I can easily increase the bass with jeteffects and get the bass to sound good, however I wanted to be able to hear it on normal settings.
I then changed to DX220 and Amp8 and there we are, bass is there!
So, I think for me this the best DAP combo so far. I have yet to test on QP1R and the AR-M2.
At least I'm happy with the results.
I think I've burned them in for around 80 hours till now.
Thought they had more bass.
