While I certainly agree that the 3DT is an excellent affordable IEM, leading into the world of high-end IEMs, in a lot of ways, it’s so good that it can simultaneously serve as an end-game IEM.

I'm enjoying my 3DT with Symbio hybrid tips, they tame the treble and enhance bass performance by cleaning up just a tad.

Hi @Wildcatsare1, are you referring to Symbio W tips? which size are you using on your 3DT?
Have never tried Symbios, but I am willing to give them a go if they help to reduce that peak at that 4-5Khz region

There is no free or economy shipping option for us Canadians. $50 for DHL through Andrew and then DHL tacks on an additional $20 to release from customs once it get here. Which is a 100% pure profit charge for DHL. I love Andrew, I detest wasting money. USPS from the US to Canada takes 3 days longer is 20% of the cost and no additional fees from anyone.

If I would've known these were coming from New Jersey then I don't think I would've paid extra for the shipping. I thought these were coming from overseas so that's why I paid extra to get them in the best time possible. Oh well. I'll from this for the next time

One more joins the fan club.... Mine showed up an hour ago as well! And they are beautiful; there's almost a pearlesence 3D effect iwithin the blue pigment. I'll try to capture it in a pic. First impressions out of the box with the stock tips was that they were a little hollow and very bass light. Moving to the medium bore silicones that come with Nobles - balance, air and sparkle. There was nice texture in the bass but no rumble, pretty much as everyone thus far has described. They are super comfortable and isloate just shy of the level of my CIEMS. I listened with the Noble tips for about an hour and decided to try the Final E Tips which I haven't liked on anything so far but on these 3DTs, for me, they are the bomb! Finally a place to use and enjoy these tips. The 3DTs retain all of the sparkle up top, maintain the mids but but really pull out the bass capabilities. They go much deeper with the Final E without bleeding over to the mids. Me Very Happy! I can also confirm the pure OFC cable from IMR is great pairing. I'll let them run in for about 100 hours but I cant imagine changing the the way I've got them set up now. The difference in the bass response with these tips is remarkable. These things, to use a cliche, "punch way above their weight".
