thank you, 3DT looks amazing.
Having Volt and IT07, and others dunno if buy UM or not...
Even if you grab one used when they start popping up it's still worth it. Plus it's gorgeous....

You know, it sounds so great I don't even remember to burn it in over night....but it has gotten better and better... i may have 50ish hours on it.... I want to do about 30 more hours of LOUD bass heavy edm to really stretch the drivers out and loosen them up....

If I recall audio123 had reviewed the Dmagic few months back but doubt he has 3DT to compare.😊
Thanks. I already own the qdc Dmagic (great iem tonality and timbre wise, technicalities is good but not its strong point), looking for a comparison to the UM 3DT :smile_phones: .

ok, if I'm not wrong there's electronic crossover involved in Dmagic, considering the price of Dmagic hopefully you get what is expected of it.😊

Excellent comparison, thanks!

How would you compare the imaging (holographic?) and instrument separation of the 3DT vs the Zen?

The 3DT has better imaging and instrumental separation. Soundstage is also more expansive than the Zen.

Zen sounds bit more hi-fi though meaning its sound reproduction feels more faithful to the original.. :)

I need to revisit some of the live recordings which I was part of. I want to gauge the timbral accuracy between the two. Piano sounds bit more correct on the Zen, whereas Violin sounds really good on the 3DT.

Guess it’s good to have both haha

So I made the right choice. Now, if somebody would compare the 3DT with Fiio FD5...but I already have a feeling that 3DT would win.

Tgx78, are you using CEMA Tian..cable? If so, which is more cable sensitive?

I am using the Tianwaitian on the 3DT.
Zen already comes with a very nice cable so I didn’t even bother trying other cables. Besides I don’t have many mmcx aftermarket cables and I don’t like using those mmcx > 2-pin adapters.
