Ultrasone HFI headphones

I need advice on which headphones would be best for me. I listen to all types of music and want headphones with strong bass and good highs and mids. I was considering buying the Ultrasone HFI 580 because they seemed to fit my criteria. DJDeals has them on sale for $120 which is reasonable but I saw that they also have the Ultrasone HFI 700 for $150. I'm not sure if the 700s are much better for $30 more. I'm trying to spend under $200 and want to know which headphones are the better deal.

The HFI-780 is a bit more balanced than the HFI-580 and might suit your needs better.

Yes, and my recommendation stands. The HFI-780 can be had at a good price, and something worth looking into.

So you think the 780s are better than the 700? Which has better bass?

Well, the HFI-580 has more bass presence than either the HFI-700 or the HFI-780, so if that's the main defining characteristic, you should look to the HFI-580 rather than any of those two higher siblings.
