i know JDS labs does the 8cm micro to mini otg usb and its almost perfect for what i want but i need a micro to micro
 
is there one out there anyone knows about? 
 
the only other thing i can think of doing is using an adapter with the jds labs cable. there is custom services out there but i have never been able get it so short.

mini to mini maybe not, micro to micro, yes, it does, i have bought one locally at Malaysia, works as otg on both ends

Searching previously, I have never found an off-the-shelf mini-mini OTG cable on ebay or aliexpress.
I have micro-micro OTG both ends work.
I have micro-mini OTG both ends working (?) Unsure as I only used it one direction.
 
Trying to use an adapter on a micro-mini OTG to make it mini-mini OTG may cause detection problems.
 
There are cable builders on this forum that may make it for you as a custom mini-mini OTG.
Small/tricky/time-consuming to make - expect to pay for their build time and materials.
 
Should your title not be " Mini-USB to Mini-USB OTG cable, does it exist ?"
 
Google images is another faster way to search for specific cables vs text search.

I just picked this one up off of ebay.... micro to mini...
You want to search for ' right angle micro usb otg '. I think the right-angle ones put less pressure on the port and easier to wrap to the back of phone etc.
