I went by Final Audio Design booth , they have 2 new variant on their products
FAD Heaven VII
FAD Heaven VIII

My short impression

FAD Heaven VII :
High :Has brighter and better detail
Mid : a bit backward
Bass : very good in detail
Overall : more neutral

FAD Heaven VIII
High : is smother than Heaven VII
Mid : is thicker , sweeter and intimate , more forward
Bass : is bigger than FAD VI
Overall : more for vocal lover

My JH Roxanne AK R03 is Universal JH Roxanne with special tuning for Astell and Kern DAPs included balance cable TRRS

My short impression :
I had my first JH Roxanne 2 month ago , after 2 weeks i sold , because I thought my custom JH Roxanne Carbon Fiber was ready
This JH Roxanne AK R03 is my third JH Roxanne
Now I have 2 JH Roxanne :
Custom JH Roxanne Carbon Fiber
Universal JH Roxanne AK03 special tuning for AK DAPs with balance cable included

JH Roxanne AK R03 sound quality :
Has the closest sound quality from my JH Roxanne custom Carbon Fiber .

Sony Z7: Definitely a very good product! Warm, smooth, full body and pleasing sound, very comfort to wear, luxury build quality. Top notch!
 

Biggest surprise to me come from Grado, I used to hate GS1000 and GS1000i, but this GS1000e is my most favourite Grado ever! The improvement is very very significant!
 

Super heavenly good vocality: Final Audio Heaven VIII, I don't think any iem under USD 1000 can beat them in vocality.

At the USF show I missed to met Alex Rosson from Audeze
As Audeze fan boy I need to have discussion and took foto with him

Since 2010 I have his LCD like follow :
LCD 2 rev 1 > LCD 2 rev 2 > LCD 2 Rev 3 latest version before Razor > all I have sold
LCD 3 rev 1 with muffled driver > I have sold > bought LCD 3 with better high > I have sold

2014 I have his LCD series with Fazor technology :

At the USF I and the Siltech CEO and his wife as CEO from Crystal Cable shared and discussed many thing about their Crystal Cable for portable audio .

I bought their Crystal Cable Picollo mini to mini

We have done the comparison between their prototype Refererence series with 2 braided vs my DIY Crystal Cable Reference 3 braided :
In this comparison my DIY CC Reference 3 braided won in term :
High : has more presence and detail and better clarity
Mid : has more weight and better pronounce and sweeter
Bass : has more body , better bass impact and going lower and cleaner

At the end they are agreed that 3 Braided SQ is much better than 2 braided
My DIY CC Reference Cable use :
3 Braided for left , right and Ground my DIY friend use the same CC Reference cable and I use Viablue connector

On their prototype they use
2 braided for left and right , for Ground they use not the same CC reference cable and use Neutrik connector
In the future they are agree to change with other connector like Viablue , Oyaide or Double Helix new Plugs
