The SF 4s are coming out any minute now, but they are single driver, so they may be a replacement for the SF 3, but not the SF 5.
Def. a steal if you live in continental US. These compare to $250-$300
the sf3's at ratshack are $40 ($10 coupon, red only though I think).
The clear/red sf5p is $140 and blck/wht is $150 w/ free shipping (to US only I guess) at Amazon.
I've kept researching nonstop and ultimate ears super.fi's seem to have the best sound generally out of all IEMS for a fuller, fun sound. The shape sucks and the sf5pro sounds a lot better I think (as in a considerable upgrade/look) but both prices can't be beat.
I think the sf3's are on clearance but dunno about the sf5p. Probably but I can't guarantee a newer model soon.
i tried on my friend's sf5's that he just got from costco yesterday, he did the flip flop mod and they sound alrite to me. I don't know, I'm more of an ety sound signature fan so I probalby wouldn't buy them but they're a nice fit and they sound good.
I've learned through research that 10 minutes of listening for one person's ears mean next to nothing.
This is pretty impressive having very little disappointment (at least compared to other reviews). Worth buying at $250 original price if I had the money.
