These are about the same price on Amazon. I don't know which way to go.

I listen to mostly rock and pop.

Haven't heard the 900's, sorry, but I do like the SE425 quite a bit. You might also check out the Dunu DN-2000/2000J and see what you think. Maybe one of those might work for you also.

I personally prefer the SE425 over the UE900. The SE425 is a very nice IEM and I highly recommend it even though I will say it's not exactly the best in it's price bracket. The Dunu DN-2000 is a better value but I will also add that the Dunu DN-2000 is bloody uncomfortable, especially if you have smalls ears. Personally the bore is much too big for my ears and since they weight a lot for an IEM, it can put quite a bit of strain on your ear canal over a long period. The cable is also very thin and is prone to breaking easily if not taken care of properly. Apart from those concerns, I think it is a fine choice.

Oh interesting. I hadn't considered the dunu dn2000. I see it has both BA and a driver. I didn't know anyone was doing that.
