Continuing with the tradition with the Ultimate DIY: the 3.5mm 1/8" mini jack plug collection thread thread, I figure that the 1/4" TRS Phone Plug needs some love as well.

Same Rules apply as with the other thread. Please please please feel free to contribute a 6.3mm 1/4" TRS Stereo Phone plug to this REFERENCE thread for DIY cable makers.....

Any suggestions comments or reviews of any or all of these plugs are also highly recommended.

If possible, please include any innards of any or all the mini plugs you come across that also would be a great reference for future cable makers.

Yes, in most every case they can.

Since most plugs are spring loaded or use some sort of spingy system to connect, they work especially when you consider that the spacing is the same as a standard TRS plug in terms of length.

Yes, I personally have used it and it's a very nice plug for $9.50. It's a tight fit in most devices(which I find very useful). The solder terminals may be small, but nothing a little flux can't help with..

Where did you find it for only $9.50?

I can only find it for around $15.

Neutrik NP3TB:

(avoid this one, it isn't suitable for audio. It's too loose.)

Neutrik NP3C:

(It's solidly made, but nothing special.)

Plugs that I've used and my opinion:
The vampire plugs: Nicely made, pretty self explainatory, and fits mogami 2534 perfectly. However, it does not come with a plastic sleeve to isolate the metal bits from the case.
Furutech FP703: I like this one. It's rather large, but it's nicely made.
Various radioshack and generic plugs: They're generally pretty solid, boring, but gets the job done.
