well...staples are steel, and steel is magnetically attracted. Problem is, so are your drivers. heh. The magnets in the drivers of those tiny IEMs must be incredibly small though, so any smallish magnet you find would help to try to pull it out I'm thinking.

I would definitely NOT use them with the staple bit in the tube still. If it dislodged in your ear canal, well that wouldn't be pleasant at all now would it.

i tried locating it inside the driver and can't.

don't know if thats good or bad
but, i tried listening to em (the staple is NOT inside the tube and i did the paperclip method of the kramer mod) and they sound WAY better than they used to. as long as that little pest stays up there, i'll be fine
