I think you may be confusing Shogun for his former Chute Boxe teammate Wanderlei Silva. Shogun only beat Rampage one time. It was the opening round of the 2005 Middleweight GP in PRIDE. Shogun went on to defeat Antonio Rogerio "Minotoro" Nogueira, Alistair Overeem, and Ricardo Arona to capture the Grand Prix title.
I hate to say it because he is one of my favorite fighters to watch, but Shogun Rua is most likely done. At least the version of Shogun that MMA fans knew in 2005-2006. Two knee surgeries in less than one year, the second coming not even after a fight. He's young, but it's not looking very good for his future.
Rampage should be the favorite coming into the fight this weekend, but I think Forrest has as good a chance as anyone to beat him. Forrest is pretty well-rounded, his cardio is good, and he has improved a lot since his time on the reality show.
I'm really looking forward to seeing Fedor fight Tim Sylvia this month for the Affliction show. It will be interesting to see if Fedor can deal with the former UFC champion. Fedor is a better all-around fighter than Tim, but all it takes is one straight right from Tim to connect and it could be goodnight.
Look at the size difference:
It looks like Tim is posing for a picture with his little brother or something.
