UE6000 vs Logic3 T350

Actually, I do have a Xiaomi Pistons 2.  Got it from a local online store for $15.  I was very amazed of how it good it sounded, and like your experience, I find it competing with more expensive IEMs.  I guess I will spend on getting a better source to give these gems some justice, my phone and laptop sounds crappy.

Sorry but i have to revive this thread. Just realized that iems are uncomfortable for me, so i will revert to full size headphones. Thing is, i found a bargain: t350 & dt880 both for just $200. Should i get this or just get myself a momentum/mdr1r for the same price? I listen to most genres, but mostly r&b hiphop, edm & classical.

Hmm Iems are uncomfortable for you? I was going to recomend the RHA T10 but a actual headphone I can only recomend the T350, V Moda M100 and Senheiser Momentum Over ear. For the music you listen to though I'd recomend the M100, very fun sound signature and never get boring especially when the bass hits hard and lots of layers come wow pure fun to the ears. The T350 and Momentums have less bass but everything else is a bit clearer if you listen to alot of trance you might like the T350 or the Momentum more but on the T350 the treble gets a little harsh on some songs. The Momentum has the more relaxed sound signature so for trance I really love them. The T350 sound awsome with trance that has a bit of a kick like hard trance. But I say go with the M100 if the bass is a bit much eq the bass down a bit and you should be fine haha. :) I also recomend getting the Xl pads for the M100 they improve the sound stage and lessen the bass a bit while also improving the seperation of instruments very good investment for $20, I highly recomend them.

Thanks again for the recommendations.  Now that you mentioned the M100, I just found a used pair, finally being sold locally.  I am really having a hard time to choose with these options:

M100 used - $220
MDR-1R new - $240
Momentum used - $240
HP50 new - $260
UE6000 new - $120
T350 new - $80

No brainer that the T350 has the sweetest deal, hopefully the item is still available.  I have already sold my headphones: downtown and SR80, hoping to get a great, stylish single all-rounder headphone.  I am only left with the pistons and SHE3590, which I will give away as Christmas presents.

. For an all rounder I recomend the Momentums as for they sound amazing and do look sexy but you might get the problem of the ear pads being to small so if you want them best to go and try then before you buy, for a fun headphone the M100 are the way to go plus the construction is amazing but one problem though in that the ear pads may be to shallow so if u go with the M100 get the XL pads as well, the UE6000 are a good headphone but to me the sounded a little bit congested and when playing a heavy bass track I felt that the bass could get bloated and lag and be slow a bit. The T350 awsome headphones but the construction on both Momentums and M100 feel so much better and treble on the T350 can get harsh but with some eq and burn in they are very good headphones that can compare with the Momentum. I havent had the chance to try the HP50 and the MDR1R so I won't comment on them. For my taste though I enjoy the Momentum the most when holding them, they just feel so light but at the same time very high quality and as for comfort simply amazing but I do have small ears so it really isnt a problem and as for sound simply lush laid back and relaxing. The M100 in hand feel better than the Momentum but the Momentum had something luxurios that I just love. The M100 though feel like tanks, very sturdy and epecially in matte or shadow they look very sexy and sleek aswell and also the funnest of them all. Once you put the XL pads though wow the headphone changes completely, better comfort and better sound with the XL pads is all I need to say and fun factor goes high up maybe even top 3 of my collection of headphones and iems I own, you can just simply crank up the volume and feels like you are at a rave party no jokes!! Now the T350 are nicely built but for the original price with all honesty they could have done better, like maybe added more metal than plastic or simply just change the design, not saying I don't like them but they could have been better, but for sound they live up to the price. They are fun bit laid back a perfect all rounder mayne the Momentums do have a smoothet sound but the T350 have a sound singnature that can be fun but relaxing at the same time. I really don't know how to describe it but for trance the T350 really do shine. Also thougb the M100 and T350 benefit the most when amped so keep that in mind. But with my opinion the Momentums that hot sexy chic that you can trust and she'll be loyal to you all the time and you can simply kick back with her anytime you want, she undetstands you and when you need a helping hand she is always there to get you right up. The M100 is that seriously hot babe you find at a rave or nightclub that you can simply forget all your life problems when you are with her and she'll give you some enjoyment back ;) haha. The T350 is that sporty chic that likes yoga but also doesnt mind going out to a nice bar or club and having a fun time. She likes cracking jokes and won't mind if you crack jokes about her or your life storys, very kind and loyal and can cook up a seriously amazimg dish. The M100, Momentums and T350 are all amazing headphones and all can suit your music taste but what I think will matter most is do you need strong durabilty? Do you need some light weight and portable? The T350 and Momentums both have large cases compared to the M100. So you need to look and ask your self what you will be using them for and which ones do you like the most out of looks. As for sound I can gladly say they all are very good headphones.

Thanks much for the replies and keeping my thread alive Loco! Amazing analogy comparing headphones to women, you must be good with both ;)

And with that, let me share my analogy with the MDR-1R, which I had plenty of auditions with:  The MDR-1R is like your Girl next door, even with her simple style and looks it will be hard for you not to notice, and if you spend some time with her you will feel the comfiest and coziest.  She will tell how you fun she is having with you, but wont bore you the details.  I should know... because I am married to one :)  Maybe the MDR-1R might be the one for me too?

. Haha I will always be here to help :). I still an not a complete pro with headphones but I do like to have a mix of basshead and balanced headphones. And how do the MDR-R1 sound, is it bassy or balanced or inbetween or maybe even a treble sound signature?

As far as my impressions with the 1r, to me they are like 90% SQ of the momentum, also laid back but has more PRAT and forward mids. Seems they are the ones i will get, since they are the only ones here with decent seller.

I strongly disagree with 1R being 90% of the momentum. 1R doesnt have the clarity or resolution, not even close. Difference in materials used and build quality is also pretty big. I like both but 1R is underwhelming sonically

Hmm two different opinions, the only headphones that sounded kinda similar to the Momentums that i've tryd and really enjoyed are the Bowers & Wilkins P7 but they have more bass and the mids sounded a tad bit recess but they were a funner listen to my ears.

I am ok if others have different opinions, it doesnt make anyone less right. I do admit momentums are superior, its just that deciding factors lead me to the 1r. Its important for me to have nearby store warranty, since i will be dishing alot of cash on this, and i only have 2 weeks left before i will be needing one.

However, my beautiful problems dont stop there. I am now seeing great deals on TOTL iems and open cans... So exasperating

I know where you are comimg from, sometimes I can't trust buying from the internet because I fear that if something arrives damaged with all honesty I can't be stuffed returning it. So do what best suits you if there is a good deal thats closer to you try it out.
