I pretty much have to second picklgreen- The best sound at show to my ears was the Modwright/Rangers Audio room (with the Quads). Very smooth and non-fatiguing sound. I could have listened for hours in that room. My second choice was (can't remember name) room with Alon speakers and Audio Reseach electronics.
Modwright is launching it's first "fully built by Modwright" product- a very sweet preamp based on the "Absolute Truth" tube circuit that they use in the output stage of the players they mod. I was very impressed by the sound of the players with that circuit for the output stage. It will be an excellent sounding preamp.
