Dollar short and a couple of days late. The OP already bought the Touch a month ago and says it sounds as good as his Sony DAP. He posted as much on July 3. My post above was to second his view that the Touch sounds perfectly fine.

Yes I already got the Touch. Since the Sony was stolen I can't compare head to head, I'm assuming the Sony would have had the edge in SQ, but with my ears and my Porta Pro's, and the majority of my music collection I don't feel like I'm missing much.
