I tried the Gate for the first time. This is surprisingly balanced, especially for its price. I put some Spinfit CP100s on them, and they are comfortable and sound great. Probably my favorite budget recommendation now.

The included tips are wack though, especially the wide bore large ones. I almost didn't even give them another chance based on the first impression with those.

Yes Gate are surprisingly good for the cheap price. I'm using them with Dunu S&S tips. Zeros got another refresh. :/ Would hope for some other great creation that punches above Nova.

I've been using the truthear hexa as my primary iem for about a year now... they got their funkiness (the nozzle is a weird shape and is picky about tips) but I really do love it

heres a photo of my hexas looking a little worried

my main issue with them would be that the bass is a little lacking. whats there is delightful, but it would be nice to have a little more of it.
