Hey there! I am searching for a good genuine 5.1 surround sound headphone, that supports optical (TOSLINK) from my motherboard. Now I know I could get the regular PC version of the Tritton 5.1 Call of Duty Black Ops headset, however, motherboard audio never sounds that great, so I was thinking that the 360/PS3 version of the headset would work great with the TOSLINK output of my motherboard. Another great factor of the TOSLINK, if that I have an original Xbox (Not 360), and an HD Pack for it that has a TOSLINK cable that supports 5.1 surround sound. Maybe I could hook that up the the small "reciever" end of the headset and get glorious 5.1 sourround sound from Fable or Tom Clancy's Pandora Tomorrow! Also, I do let's plays on youtube, and I was thinking that maybe I could hook up the USB-B end for the microphone from the "receiver" to my motherboard and record the audio from that!
