Be careful, don't press too hard, and be quick to remove it. If not, you could risk some of the "material" be stuck in the mesh.I will try. Thx.
I've been quite "hardy" with the Airpods without any problems, but just be careful...

Thanks! What is the source of that graph? Do you know which model of Moondrop filter was used?Mele Filter Fix
You guys having condensation issues and blocked filters - if Linsoul / DD can't provide spare filters then your choices are going to be:
Moondrop filters
https://a.aliexpress.com/_mNmjzAe Starfield/Aria/KXXS ones ONLY - you will end up with a slightlybrighterEDIT: darker (sorry) tuning than stock
Tanchjim filters
https://penonaudio.com/tanchjim-oxygen-filter-grill-5-pairs.html
you will end up with a slightly brighter tuning than with Moondrop filters (sosignificantly brightersimilar to stock)
EDIT: Found the graph I was trying to quote from memory for the Moondrop filter mod. Got things a little mixed up, sorry!
Acoustic tuning cotton (high density version)
https://a.aliexpress.com/_mLbOWsO
you will end up with the stock tuning and improved clarity (recommended)!
You can also experiment with low density combos - this stuff is much better than fabric dampers, and doesn't seem to ever trap condensation.
Kitchen sponge foam
Just cut some 5mm cubes from the corners of a (fresh) sponge and experiment. Fiddly and can lead to channel imbalance if you don't get the sizes identical, but a good alternative to tuning cotton and doesn't require a 10 day wait for shipping
Good luck

The graph is off some Facebook group I think, I pinched it off another forum - afaik it was the Starfield filterThanks! What is the source of that graph? Do you know which model of Moondrop filter was used?
Also, how do you know that the high density foam mod has the same result as stock? Is there a graph for that?
I posted that graph, with permission from the person who took the measurements. Filters used were the Moondrop 3 layer filter: https://shenzhenaudio.com/products/...ssories-for-spaceship-kxxs-starfield-earphone.The graph is off some Facebook group I think, I pinched it off another forum - afaik it was the Starfield filter

To test tuning against stock just mod one side and compare the results.
What a good price! It is not a filter. It is just a flat something. And this is the priceiest one. Blon need cable, mele need new filters after every 10 day. Good job!Mele filters are now available: https://www.linsoul.com/collections/all/products/tripowin-x-hbb-mele?variant=41358434566299
If the problem with the filters is so common, then the Meles are essentially unusable. I would like to know the opinions of other regular users. I got mine today and I'm pleasantly surprised with the sound tuning. It would be a shame and yes, a theft. What a good price! It is not a filter. It is just a flat something. But wait!
" DURABLE and elegant housing"
I can feel myself scammed.
Just look at to your mele filters. Compare it to your other sets. Than wait your inbalance. If the problem with the filters is so common, then the Meles are essentially unusable. I've probably put in at least 400 hours with them and I've had no issues. I do live in a pretty cool and dry climate, and I qtip every day, and I use Spinfit CP100s, which are much narrower bore than the stock tips. Love mine enough so I've been considering buying another pair to have a spare. If the problem with the filters is so common, then the Meles are essentially unusable. That sounds reassuring, I have to wait for my own experience.I've probably put in at least 400 hours with them and I've had no issues. THXI've also been using mine for 7 weeks now and have had zero issues from condensation.
Listen it at least 6-8 hours a day continously and drink some hot tea. The rare small holes on the filters are fact. One side will be qieter and than you must cleaning it. Small sweapers makes it more quieter. If you live on Greenland you are the lucky one.I've also been using mine for 7 weeks now and have had zero issues from condensation.
