hi guys,
I bought the triplefi 10 vi - and have been using them nonstop for the last month or so.
I have been reading that they have midbass bloat or so of around -6db.

I use linux and LADSPA equalizer plugins or a Sansa+Rockbox , but I would appreciate any idea of equalizer settings according to frequency
.

thanks!

What would describe your perfect sound? For me I up the 14KHz-20KHz about 6+dB, and up the 50hz about +4dB. I go back and change according to the song and what needs to be done to make it match my taste. I can tell you that whatever you put on that EQ, the TF-10 changes to match that sound with no problems at all. The TF-10 handles EQ-ing excellently. Ive heard no distortion. Its so easy because of the 3 drivers.

I received yesterday my TF10 and I had to push high some mid frequencies (+10db) from 1K to 4K to find the sound I wanted for voices and guitars.

On the other hand, I had to decrease to +5db for low frequencies because bass are very present.

So it took me 3 hours to change my old EQs (based on AKG 242HD), but it was worth it.

Depends on what you're listening too.
