That would look good if not gold then matt black with just a small splash of colour for your logo would look very classy on these.

probably getting ahead of ourselves here but also not a fan of gold...the black @Bobtrinity showed with the same color as the top part of the headband for the logo near the cups would be nicely understated.

Its protein leather.

There will be 1 x shallow pad (as pictured), 1 x deep protein leather pad and 1 x velour deep pad. I am working on a memory foam pad, but that's not definite yet.

First time I've been really interested in a piece of head-fi in more than a year. They look beautiful and, if they sound as good as they look and the 'switchable' open/closed back design is good, I'm on board. Thank you for posting these here.

My ears fit inside no problem on the small shallow pads

Just make sure the pads are sufficiently large and cover the ear with a bit of space left.
