I’ll do it for sure!
I’ll get some burnin and try it with my IEMs.
Also burning RS6, my life is always “on fire”😅

DD (LCP or Beryllium coated) full range + Sonion EST tweeter
So there will be a question when it comes to EST, the place where to place the EST, and which kind of DD should be chosen. Thank you for the advice, we can make a prototype to have a try, but not sure to release it.

I also received mine. Does AMP need burning?

To my ears, my iems sound brighter with this TK-2 compared to my Hiby R5.
It pairs better with warmer iem such as ISN D10.

One thing quite bothers me is it seems less powerful than Hiby R5.

The plus is all ports work paralelly. You can do A/B testing from 2.5mm and 4.4mm, even 3.5mm if you want to.

Different DAC chips may be responsible. The Hiby R5 uses Cirrus Logic and TK-2 uses Sabre. I very much liked the Cirrus Logic style of sound and when I first heard a Sabre chip, I thought it was a bit forward and analytical but now I just hear it as revealing.

Since the EST requires a lot of space, I would try to do it in a more unique way. Like having the iem stick out like the old Sony EX800ST/1000 shape.

So instead of making it fatter/rounder, you make it longer.

A 16mm DD would be amazing, but I doubt you would have the space for that, so going 8-10mm should be a better idea.

Guys TRI TK2 is a real bargain, sounds amazing out of the box, I don’t have much time with it, almost 2h but I can say it a real steal!

Really?
"Steal" compared to what?
Driving power vs. size/volume?

Sorry, more convincing (not asking for substantiated, OK), just at least more emphatic "oomph" and "aah" are definitely needed:) :)

Without say name, far better than dongle at same prices and even better than some dap around 500/600$

OK.
Let me try with you:
-- better than a brick of gold of exactly the same size (a valid comparison point): more functional, ligher and so incredibly much cheaper!!
-- Better than any DAP of comparable price...
Wait...

Better than Zishan Z4 (same double ESS)?
Or better, cleaner than E1DA?

What exactly DAP and DACs is your comparison based on? (Unless you are just promoting photos and words - no problem with it)

I won't say it is better. It gives me more options of source because to my ears it sounds different from my Hiby R5 which is warmer.
I like it when pair with my warmer iems such as ISN D10.

Eureka! As I am writing this I am listening with Urbanfun YBF-ISS014 through TK-2 as if it is different iem, bass is tighter and cleaner. I never feel YBF sounds as enjoyable as until now.
