I need comfortable travel headphones that don't break the bank. I was looking at the Sennheiser Momentum but $350 New/$230 Refurbished is too much, plus the leather earpads don't instill much confidence. Looks like a headphone that just asks to be broken/stolen. It's always the cheapo headphones that don't break/remain.
They need to be sealed and have replaceable cables so I can bring along a couple spares and come with a carry case.
It needs to have really smooth treble that doesn't kill me and the best bass extension I can afford , but not bass that kills me.
I'll be using 256kb apple aac off of my HTC One X+ so fidelity isn't the end all and be all.
The V-Moda M-100 is out of the question for it's not truly sealed.
I'm currently looking at the UE6000 and the Sony MDR-1R.
Any other suggestions?
