Have narrowed my search down to these 2 amps.
 
Will probably swap out the tubes on the darkvoice if i go with it, to top out my budget.
 
Transcendere tops the budget as it is pretty much.
 
havent read a lot about it but im a bit of a sucker for aesthetics :O

I'm not sure anyone heard the S5 other than me, and from what I can tell, it's discontinued. At a minimum, Pacific Valve doesn't seem to import it into the US anymore.
 
Bottom like - I don't think you're going to find many people who can answer your query, as evidenced by the lack of posts.
 
As for me, if a single-input headphone-only amp will do, go with the Darkvoice for sure.  The S5 is more full-featured, but unless you need those features, I'd stay with the Darkvoice.
