Trafomatic Head 2

I highly recommend the 6n23p Reflector Holy Grail 1975 tubes- they add a silky midrange while tightening the bass response and adding a more holographic third dimension to the soundstage.  Telefunken e88cc were more neutral transparent and less holographic but had higher frequency extension.

Where to buy?

I bought mine from a Russian eBay seller with a long selling history. I also just got a pair of 6n30p-eb "supertubes." I just started listening now and '75 6n23p reflektors and '85 6n30p-eb combined the midrange is silkier and more transparent holographic than stock and the sound stage seems a little wider and decay a little naturally.

At the moment I'm getting a little static on the right channel occasionally- even after tube changes and power cord change. So have used deoxit on the tube sockets hopefully that might be the answer- the TH2 in these large wood crates - the jostling can lead to dirt in the pins perhaps? I've had this happen with pentiometers though and deoxit helped with that.

Hd800 and trafomatic head 2 shows that the hd800 is really capable for even rock music like the beatles to the pixies. Lots of prat and even some good sub bass. I think 75 refleckor 6n23p has a silky midrange and might go better with the little more analytical sovtek 6h30. The tele 6922 is more analytical so may balance better with the 6n30p-eb tubes which are richer sounding. Overall these russian tubes are impressive.
I like the pinch waist 6922 for greater transparency shimmer and sparkle on the top end.

The he1000 sounds rich and dynamic - fast which is something as these can be kind of laid back headphones. And the hd800 pairing is really synergistic: giving the hd800 a bit of 3d/warmth transparency but also some body/weight. Possibly thinking of using some sylvania metal base 6sn7w using 6922-6sn7 adapters.

Are there are any 6n30p-eb tube substitutes like ecc90 etc?

The TH2 is definitely a little more synergistic to me with the hd800 than the Taurus was. However the Taurus is certainly a neutral (with dry/warmth) amp and has a pleasant balanced presentation and not overly analytical though has good detail retrieval.  I'm curious about the v281?

Between the pinch waist 6922, 75 Refleckor, tele 6922 & Siemens cca which do you prefer?

Depends. 75 reflector have a warmth and 3d effect and pinch waist has very nice extension. Tele and Siemens are good can't go wrong with any of these. Right now with hd800 I use reflector more with hek I use Siemens/pinch waist more.
