What did you mean? as it did not work for me.

LOL!

Sorry turokrocks!
I actually meant to quote YOUR words:

Quote:
"Do I have to chose random play everytime from the settings, play.
As it seems it revert back to normal after restarting!"

I get the same behavior...

I'm actually not impressed too much after using the player for 3 weeks now...

Cons:

1) Battery life is definitely NOT 80 nor 50 nor even 30 hours for me... (driving the Mad Dogs seems to be quite a hassle for this player... but even with my Sig Pros, probably reaches 20-something hours).

2) GUI gets on my nerves even though I don't even touch the player that much after it starts playing and little things like the one mentioned above regarding the "shuffle" function, well, they really shouldn't exist! (Not on a $300+ player...)

3) Functionality... well it plays MP3s... when it recognizes them... (again, this should not be a hassle whether the mp3 has ID tags or not...)

4) I still cannot believe that this player has to RELOAD the microSD EVERY TIME!!! My 64gb card takes like 3 to 5 minutes for the initial "upload" then after that, IF I want to shuffle through a whole "specific" folder from the resource manager, the player takes like 7 minutes to load said folder and start playing... Even old ass players create "listing trees" so as to not have to do this UNLESS you tell the player to update/refresh library.

Pros:

1) It's an MP3 player with a capable amp section... all in one.
2) Looks good.
3) ... ...

not much else.

Does this mean that I'm going back to my Sansa Clip Zip + Leckerton Combo?!?
Probably not... but I'm still looking for players capable of reading my 64gb card and having excellent battery life...

P.S. Actually, I got 27:33 hours with my Sig Pros... Volume ranging from 14 to 22, Shuffle/random mode active.

I'm not sure turocks it depends lol. I remember my other unit taking upwards to 14 hours lol. But that was on a crappy charger that didn't give as much mAh charge. I'd say at least 10 hours if not a bit more. At least it last long per charge and as said earlier charge it while you sleep ;).

Mmhm, i guess it should be around 8hrs? I usually charge mine while i sleep.

I think I should try to charge it next time with the T51 charger, as it usualy takes half the time to charge the T51 compared to other charges....thanks guys

Yep I use the Ghetto SFLO2 charger I still have (the only thing that worked right from mp4nation). Works like a charm ;).

Hey everyone, haven't post a good while in this thread. Just wanted to say Thanks againJack for letting me particapate in the promotion. and that you and Lee has been up most helpful in communication, and setting up this beautiful player. I found myself buying more headphones and IEM's than i ever bought before. Right now im currently using the player with, Sennheiser HD 650, 600 598, Hifiman he400, akg q701, Audio Technica Ck10, etymotic er-4s, hifiman re-zero. I also listed the performance rating  of all of them based off how good they sound with Acoustic Alchemy and Paul hardcastle. i'll post a more deeper description but for right now i'll just give a rating.

Sennheiser HD 650          -10/10 The best performer, i was simply amazed with the how smooth and full sounding when i tested it with Paul Hardcastle- Lucky Star

AKG q701                         - 9.5/10 I Love the Clarity and SoundStage of these :D

Hifiman He-400                -  9.6/10  in my opinion the best choice in headphones for this player because it sounds damn near perfect for everything/fast quickness

Sennheiser HD 598         -  9/10

Sennheiser HD 600         -  9.4/10

audio Technica ck10       -  9.8/10   one of the best sounding IEM's I used so far with hisound next to Etymotic research even though they lack a bif of bass

Etymotic Er-4s                 -  9.7/10

hifiman re-zero                -  8.3/10 for 100$ dollars get these or the etymotic hf5 :D they sound great ^^

Brainwavz B2 I really want to try these out but never got a chance around to them. I'm sure they will sound excellent with this player and i will be buying these along with Hisound golden crystals.

Glad to hear you are enjoying them Poetic :). Not sure if you ever heard of the IE80s before but it has a similar sound signature to your HD650s so it may be what you are looking for in IEMs. Especially with the Studio V it pairs amazingly well. Huge sound stage and an exceptional performer on most genres (the best part about these IEMS IMO). Plus you have 3 choices of different sound signatures without having to use Eq which is amazing. They are on sale the last I heard at amazon.de for $270.00. Very good deal IMO.

Ya i was also looking into those, I love the sound of smoothness in sennheiser's. Plus they don't get fatiguing after a while like other bright earphones/headphones. I really do enjoy my 650's, the soundstage the fullness is beautiful.

So did you manage to get your music working on mp3tag? Sorry about giving you a virus the last time I connected to your PC. I didn't know my PC was infected at the time. I did an image-restore to rectify the problem....

its all good maybe i already had it on my comp? reguardless I got rid of it snap of my finger. When i drag my music to mp3 tag it doesn't pop like i didn't even drag and drop. i was meaning to ask you about that.

Hmm I'm not sure never had that problem before..... Maybe try add the folder manually? Are you running mp3 tag as administrator? That may help.

Regarding the virus. Well I did have one for sure lol. After you told me about getting a virus I started noticing strange stuff happening to my PC. Like while on headfi or other websites I'd see underlined words which are links to adds lol. I was really upset at first thinking headfi was putting adds into the words but it was other sites as well....

After the image restore (thank God it takes less than 10 minutes) everything is smooth.
