Tower's been out of business for about 2 years. I think there's still an online store.

mb quart makes 100 ohm drivers.
the dbi labeled ones use their own 35 and 40 ohm drivers. i got an email straight from dbi on this

Actually, yes. If they're cheap headphones (and I'm sure they are), then they're probably the best headphones I've heard in the ~$50 price range.

Lucky your music stores have those headphones. In my country, record stores either have no headphones at all or use Chinese knock-offs (not to offend the good country, I'm just saying.)
