TOUR CLOSED - US Head-Fi Tour: Fearless Audio CIEM Tour - Starting May 2019

I received the kit and everything seems to be in order.
Where to begin? I briefly auditioned the S8f and acme8, as they were the 2 that interested me the most pre-tour.
I am really enjoying the S8f, as I like the details and how it presents them, as well as the impressive BA bass.
This is going to be a fun week!

I reached out to @Carlsan and he is prepared to receive the kit, so I will be getting it shipped out to him asap.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my week with the kit! I ended up being enamored with the s10 Genie and preferred them to all of the other pairs.
I now know what pair to purchase next!

Got the kit today at work, thanks to thejoker13 for the quick and secure shipping.
All ten earphones in their respective cases came within solid priority box.
Looking forward to checking them out.

That ACME8, it's like sitting behind the drum kit on stage. I like it, yet it is is also clear if far from neutral.

A few more observations, the ACME8 becomes tiring after awhile, somewhat like a one trick poney. Plus I've heard better IEM's that handle the bottom end better. and that is supose to be it's strength. Still an interesting experiment.

The S10 genie seems to be quite good, and matches the Roland (which I own) in quality. The Roland is darker, but both are both just as resolving. I think I like the bottom end of the S10's better than the Rolands.
The S10's have more of an impact over the Roland's as well, just a livelier earphone in general.

Sending the tour kit on to Rantng.

Thanks for including me in on the tour. Found, with the tour model's anyway, that I really am not missing anything from the Fearless lineup as I already own the Rolands and the s8Freedom.
My biggest surprise was with the 8Pro, wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. 8Pro has a slightly different presentation of the music, more analytical, than the Freedom. The Freedom presentation is more musical that the Pro, and just as good. They do sound so close together that owning both would be redundant. I'm happy with the Freedom. Admittedly I listened to mostly the Pro's during the last couple of days, they really are impressive, especially at their price point.
I also really liked the S10's, if I was to find a good price on them, even used, I would be tempted.
Thanks again Barra.
Cheers.

Kit received. Just a quick peek and everything looks complete and tidily packaged. Will report if I find any issues. Thanks again, Barra.

I just received the kit from SilverEars!

The Start and S4 are impressive values. The S6/S8 line bring the sound to the next level.

More impressions to follow.

Just wrapping up with the tour kit, While the S8F and S8P are fairly close, I actually prefer the pro version- to my ears there is a slight improvement in clarity in the upper registers where cymbals sound cleaner. S8 pro is my favorite of the bunch. For the price I thought S8P/S8F > S6 Rui. Some of the models I was not impressed with, but that is more of a personal opinion. I measured them on my hobbyist rig too and I thought I should mention the Acme8 has a very large discrepancy in the low end between L and R channels, I wonder how much more bassy they would sound if both were functioning correctly.

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to hear these, I have passed them along to Jim723.

As I mentioned unfortunately I found the Acme8 has a channel imbalance, the whole impedance is higher on the L side. I should have switched cables to make sure it was not a cable issue, but I forgot I was going to go back and check.
