Yes, but they refund it when received without damage. Not a problem to me. Just do it early in the credit card cycle and it won’t be an issue. If I have to pay the credit card before the refund, I can borrow it from savings.

Everyone, we got the kit back from Empire Ears much quicker than expected. All arrived in prestine condition. Will begin audition period and reach out to next participants to continue tour.

Received the kit this morning, mail room was rather slow.
I've sent pictures of both IEMs accessories etc. but for some reason it's not sending from my phone. Once I get the pictures I will post here (done)
so far I like Phantom better than Legend (after about 3 hours listening), weird huh?

I am in possession of the kit, from @guani360. Have not listened, but they will travel with me this weekend for much listening, and comparison with my UM Mentor v3 and CTM Da Vinci X.
