I love all my players and all my headphones. I cannot get myself to do that. My AKG K812s are awesome with proper Diana PMEQ. Some combinations do some music better than other combinations and vice versa.

There’s plenty of money to be made from our old gear. After a while you’ll have a glut of headphones, dacs, amps, etc just sitting around not getting much use. And this just for the last 3 1/2 weeks.

I hope to get there some day. I am not like the typical headfi member. Sometimes my ears are in the mood for bright, sometimes they are in the mood for dark and warm, sometimes spaciousness, other times it's detail, detail, detail. I don't seem to have one set sound signature preference.

Look around you I’m sure you got plenty of money to make but just don’t know it yet. I put stuff up just to see if it’ll sell never intending to make money on it and nearly every time it’ll sale... this is the only way I’m going to be able to afford the Tia Fourte.. with their 20% discount (confirmed) I can get them and still have money in my savings.
