Thanks for the impressions. Makes me want to give it a listen right away. My Onkyo dp-x1/Ak100ii is waiting along with All Rx MKII/Chord Mojo. U18 demo should be quite an experience for sure.
 
Will be there be a discount sale for the Memorial day weekend from 64audio? And will U18/A18 be part of the discount program? I saw reports that the audio events in soCal etc had discounted sale. Would be interesting to see.

Don't know about the discounts if any going forward, but may hear more as we progress.

Like I said in the other thread, the real question is the W900 vs. the Fourte' - hybrid vs. hybrid.
 
However, the W900 was wonderful and I still want one. Ask @Torq , he is going through W900 withdrawls too after his turn in the tour. I can easily recommend the W900 to anyone without fear of issue. The W900 hybrid bass is unlike anything that I have heard before and the treble is something very special pulled together into a very alluring signature. If I could only chose one, I would go with the A18 custom as it is at another level, but at almost twice the cost. There is room for both as they are very different. If you just listen to EDM, the W900 would save you a bundle and do everything you need. But the A18 is a great end to end solution, classical to rock to jazz to EDM. The W900 is an end game CIEM while the A18 is an end game head phone comparing to full sized sets beating my HD700, LCD2.2, and even my HEX. I would love to have the A18 and the W900 to have variety, but if the Fourte' module system gives you anything near the A18 performance and the hybrid bass, then we have something else to talk about. Regardless, it is all speculation until we get to hear the Fourte'.
 
All I know is that I am in love with the A18 and couldn't live without it any more. My apologies to my wife.
