I am curious as to what headphones have good synergy with the Headroom Total Bithead Amp.

I am looking for open headphones specifically, as I already have a nice pair of IEMS, and a good set of closed phones.

I had the Sennheiser HD-555s and the TBH. I really enjoyed the sound. Headroom has this combo on sale for $299. Highly recommended!

When used with Senn's PX 100...drives them to hell and back!!!!! You won't be disappointed with this combo!!!

They drive my HD580s with no problem.

Never tried them, but Ive read others say here that the HD595 and the Bithead/Airhead are good together. I think this was in the HD595 threads when the headphones were first introduced/getting attention a little while back.

Yea - they are quite good with the 650's. But 650's could probably use a little more power. Even with the ER4S with her high impedence could do with more ampage.

In hindsight, I would have bought their micro amp over the bithead.

See my tag line. Of all the headphones I have, there's only one pair of open back cans. ANd they are all I need, They and the TBH work superbly together.

But since everyones ears are different, I'd recommend trying as many as you can with the TBH and see which sound best to you.
