Do you know if the Aune X5S can handle a SSD formatted in exFAT?

Never mind … just found out it can .. also 2TB and 30,000 song limit … which is good for me …

Does it also have a crosstalk issue like the other ChiFi models recently mentioned here in the forum?

I can't find anything about crosstalk. But it's a different system to SMSL and Topping, and Aune work on their stuff over the course of many years, thus 'x5s 8th edition'. And they've released firmware updates for it... at least 2 or 3.

Still, I know what I'll be testing on it first, hahaha.

Keep us posted … I like the fact that the Aune X5S can be turned off … I’m pretty sure the SMS-200 is made to be left on all the time

I prefer for the SSD to remain unpowered when not in use

Alright guys, I have the Aune x5s up and running. First thing I ran was a Left-Right channel test... no added crossfeed. Left and right channels are totally separate!
It was set to english straight from startup, very easy to use and navigate.
