Topping has released new L50 amp. ASR has reviewed it. According to measurements it should be a very solid amp.

Chart compared to it's sister models:

I would like to pair a50s or L50 with Sennheiser HD660s

My setup will look like this :
Turntable-> phono preamp -> headphones/ active speakers

I'm not sure about how toppings are working on rca output

L50 has pass through option
What does it mean?
With RCA output sound always ON? Even on standby?
Is there auto off when I connect headphones?
Or the sound can be transmitted trough both rca and Jack outputs simultaneously?
Is sound volume affected by volume knob?

And how about a50s?
There is pentaconn output so it would be my preference.
But there is no pass trough but preference amp

So when the device is in standby there is no sound.
When its on then
With headphones connected the sound will be only in headphones, and when I will disconnect headphones the sound will flow through rca right?
But is sound from RCA output affected by the volume knob?

I prefer the look and pentaconn output.
I'll mostly use this setup with active speakers and in the future with amplituner.

Which would be better for me ?
A50a or L50?
