Declaration: I am not associated with the website, I am interested because I am a hobbyist and competent with a soldering iron. Even those who are not can ask the vendor to knock up a system for a fraction of the price offered by a commercial DAC. Whether it sounds similar or equal to or better than commercial system, you need to try to find out. I am tempted to find out.

Anyway the web is:

Caution: Please read the fine print carefully.

BTW the vendor seems genuine because I have and many other have bought similar items from him.

Seems like he wants $303 to have it delivered fully assembled in the box and everything. Interesting, but not interesting enough for the risk involved (for me). Seems like a fun project though if you can get it much cheaper by doing the soldering and assembly yourself. Let us know how it is if you do decide to go for it

If I buy I would only buy the PCB and Parts this combo will cost about $109 excl. CM6613, I have all the rest, ie power transformer, cabinet etc.

If you are cautious type you want to let others try it first, at the same time wait for the price will drop over the next 6-12 months.
