Have you had any issues with the players casing? Whenever I touch the left side, it seems like the metal strip is loose and the player kind of creaks and rattles. It doesn't seem like a big problem but it bothers me. Is it normal?

No, I haven't had that issue. It doesn't seem to be the sturdiest of encasing. I keep mine in a silicone case.
