I usually couldn't care less and smoked with my Westone 3, TF10 Pro, ER4P etc... But I hesitated with CK100 which I liked so much and UE 18 Pro... which is so expensive...

Could any smoker say that their IEMs have deteriorated since they have smoked quite a bit with the IEMs inside their ear canal? Has any of the IEM manufacturers issued anything about the effect of smoking on the IEMs?

I don't see how they would mess up your IEMs too much other than making them smell funny. I hate to be that guy, but your lungs will probably form cancer before you notice any audible damage to your IEM's.

Unless there is hole in you eardrum, smoke can not get into your ear canal.

I've had a cigar or cigarillo on occasion with IEM's in - the seal on the ear canal seems to suck the smoke into the eustachian tube and irritates it.  I try to avoid it.  Plug-ins like triple flanges are worse than customs.

I doubt it will adversely affect your monitors.

Unless...   Does smoke come out your ears when you have a cigarette??
