For the fans of the Henry Kloss Tivoli Audio AM/FM radios, you might be interested in this forthcoming product: http://www.tivoliaudio.com/articles.php?articleid=26 ! So, who is going to get one?

I think I see a small headphone jack in the lower left hand corner!

I have Tivoli model two radio. When connected to my stereo system, the sound quality is really good. I now use it in my office as a stand-alone radio. Its small driver sounds pretty food for such small size. I think Model Two Radio is a cleverly designed product, it is a good tuner in a hi-fi system and a listenable radio/computer speaker when used alone. I expect their new music sytem to equally well-designed as well, but what is its price?

I have absolutely no idea when it will be released and at what price.

I think that such a Music System would fetch between $500 USD and up to $1000 USD. However, I am not sure. Also, I do not know whether it will make its' debut as promised in late December 2004.

I am seriously contemplating this Tivoli Audio Music System to replace my SONY Dream Machine (AKA nightmare machine) clock radio. If I had to choose between the Grado PS-1 or this new Tivoli Audio Music System, then I would have to say that I would go with the latter because I really do not need another pair of ear/headphones. My existing clock radio is going bad slowly...I am surprised it has lasted me all of this time!

I still can't understand why Tivoli sells so *****en expensive outside US. One of those in my kitchen would be the cutest thing in the world but no way I'm paying double price.

Wow, it sure looks nice!

Maybe they have sorted out some of the problems that they had with their stand alone CD player (which was reportedly crap, and had all sorts of quality control problems).

The only drawback to the all-in-one approach is that you would give up the stereo option that you could have with the Trivoli Model Three (or Two) by buying the extra alarm/radio and placing it on the opposite nightstand. Even since I wnt this route with the Model Three, I've had a hard time getting out of bed in the mornings!

People don't want to, but when they actually hear Trivoli products for themselves, they realize that it is priced right.

I think $500 may be kind of expensive. Although I have never owned another hi-end tuner, I consider the tuner section of Model Two to be really good. The sound quality is almost comparable to CD using outdoor antenna. Good tuners are not cheap, and that's why I bought Model Two.
