The website said Oct. 2004 release. Tivoli stuff sounds and works great. I have the Model Three clock/radio in the bedroom and the Pal in the kitchen. I am amazed by the sound the produce. I have the Model Three hooked up to a speaker system for Sunday Morning Jazz Brunch.

This would be fantastic for work if it has a digital out for headphones when I need to use them.
Tivoli's sound really nice. Euphonic, rich, warm, plump in the bass. Perfect for listening while at work. Their tuners are also insanely good. At least their analogue ones. What would be awesome is if they designed a full out assaulting component tuner. I would be very interested in that. As it is now... I am hesitant about pulling the trigger on a tuner, still wondering about FM, XM and that other satellite one.
The only thing that I got to say about radio is that it is in a state of flux. The two biggest factors to think about are digital radio (HD Radio) and satellite radio (XM Radio and SIRIUS). However, if you think about it, it will take a long while before both catch on with the general public. Just think SA-CD and DVD-Audio.
I'm sorry, but the general public is much too consumed with who Britney Spears is cheating on or the latest gossip surrounding Janet Jackson than some stupid Tivoli Audio Music System or SACD / DVD-Audio.
I have a Model Two at home and another at the office and would not buy this new "all in one" unit. I love the Model Two, and much of it's delight is the imaging you get with the speakers placed a couple feet on either side of you on your desk. That would certainly be lost with this new unit.
Hmmm...I have the Model Two and love it but I'd equally love getting this for my bedroom to replace my decade or so old Sony alarm clock. I definitely hope they fixed the bugs with the cd player though. Unfortunately, I'm guessing that it'll be $500 so it'll be either this or a Karma 2.
I bought a Model One for a friend's wedding present. It's nicely made, but I wasn't greatly impressed by its sound output or reception. The only thing I could compare it to is my dad's home theatre system, which is unfair
That's intersting. Looks far nicer than the wave, also.
I have had a Model 1 in my office for the last year and a half, and people (who are not familiar with Kloss) are astounded by the full range sound that the little speaker produces. Very well tuned. And yes, the tuning section is super.
Proved that despite its huge size the CD3000 can be shoved down one's throat.

Just outside US???? I can't imagine myself paying $200.00 for a table radio, it doesn't matter how good it will sound.....we have still enough people with extra money to burn, honestly....
I'm seriously thinking about the Tivoli Audio Music System. It just looks so nice and it combines all of the separates into one unit. Convenient.
Let me keep working hard and saving carefully. I don't think it should cost more than $500 USD plus shipping. I'd love to get one for Christmas 2004 and do a review.
i might save my pennies for this one. prolly be like 700 bux though (CND)... i need some decent speakers and a new radio though... maybe it will be part christmas present :O still expensive as hell.
Electronics guys... we have our plusses and minuses. With advent of digital everything, we're being phased out

I have had the Tivoli Model 2 with CD player and "sub" woofer for as long as those components have been available from Tivoli. I have them on a high shelf in my dining room with the "woofer" hidden behind a decorative plant. The system has always performed flawlessly and provided great enjoyment. Great background music over dinner. Is it "Hi-Fi?" No, but it's hard to find a better value when you consider quality construction, asthetics, sound for size, and overall value. By comparison, the Bose offering is a cheap chunk of plastic. No comparison. BTW, I think the Boston table radio is the best sounding of the lot, but it's not available in stereo and it doesn't have the asthetics of the Tivoli. YMMV.
