Hello,
I recently added a Titanium HD + PA2V2 to my computer. I am using the Ultrasone HFI 580 headphones with this setup.
Unfortunately, I sometimes get random popping noises while playing Mass Effect 3 and Battlefield 3.
Also, when I turn on CMSS + SVM, the folder opening sound in Windows 7 seems "truncated" as in it only plays about 1 nanosecond and then cuts out.
If I am just on the Windows desktop, without any programs open, there seems to be "noise" in the background if I turn the volume up on the amp. Is that normal?
Also, I use a longer audio cable from the Titanium HD to the PA2V2 to keep it further from the PC; before when I had the amp right next to the PC, I got a lot of interference.
Other important stuff (maybe):
Titanium HD is right above the GPU in a PCIe x1 slot
System volume set at 60%
Windows set to 5.1, Titanium HD set to CMSS + SVM + EAX
Windows tone control: bass increased slightly, treble decreased slightly
