Tidal's integration with Audirvana is the key for me. Converted to DSD, I find my Tidal streaming sounds ridiculously good, often makes me wonder about the untold funds I have blown and continue to blow on my analog rig and discs...

Yes, the integration is something Spotify would still have to match in order to get my attention, assuming they end up offering a lossless tier at some point. Aurender, Roon, Auralic, and others, all work well with Tidal, and I can't see Spotify caring much about this relatively smallish market the way Tidal does. I'd love to be proven wrong though.
