Pioneer SE-M390

Sennheiser HD570

Found them all at the same price, I'm gonna use them 10+ hours with the computer and need the one that is the most comfortable and also best sound.

I'm ordering over internet so I cannot try them before buying.

Edit: I have no amplifier either.

HD570 I would say. Unless perhaps you are in a very hot climbate then the velour may be annoying.

..but from what I hear the sound isn't that superb.

Even in hot climate, velour pads are much better than those of K240.

Pioneer's seem similar to HD570, and since the sound quality of HD570 is (probably) better than Pioneer, I'd say go for HD570.

*Not to mention K240s and other studio series are quite uncomfortable as well.

I wrote a post but the forum went down the second I posted, my question was will the sennheiser HD570 still sound better than the Pioneer with integrated sound? And I don't have an amp.

Don't worry about about hot climate, comfort is more important and I live where it's ice-cold.

The 570 will likely best the pioneer under any conditions. May I suggest looking elsewhere? Denon D1001 is probably in your budget, looking at these three, and I hear they're extraordinarily comfortable. If you'rein the US you can get them from Amazon, but availability seems alright even here in New Zealand. Those or something from Audio-Technica's range - AD700? A700?

Never heard of those Pioneers before but I do like the design... IMO though the pleather of the AKG's gets a bit hot and sweaty after a while. Not as comfortable as velour either.

The Pioneer cost
67,70 USD

The Sennheiser cost
45,24 USD

So I get them very cheap, the denon however cost 230 USD, big difference.
