If you've seen my previous threads, I requested suggestions for headphones with a more spacious soundstage and stereo imaging. I came upon the Audio Technica AD700s. These monsters are around my price range. However, I want to know your thoughts on them and if there is anything similar to these with the same or near price range. I've heard these headphones have a lack in bass, which is something I'm concerned about. They described everything I want in the sound, but the bass is somewhat a disappointment. I want to know your thoughts on it and if the bass is a big downfall with these. I want a sound which is more balanced, but at the same time have a nice kick and thumb in the bass. I hear people saying that there is no bass at all. It's a shame since these have the sound I was looking for, and everyone says that it has the widest soundstage of all. These monsters look nice quality for the price! 
 
What do you think? Will I be disappointed? What other models are there that are similar?
