I'm using a NAD 3020i as a pre-amp. God... I love how it looks in the stack...

I say NAD altough I know it should be N-A-D as it's an acronym of New Acoustic Dimension

i was introduced to NAD at a local hi-fi store as N-A-D, so thats how i've always said it, I to almost ended up with a 2-channel NAD system, for 1500 bucks with the psb image towers i have i've never heard something so good, but i was really in the market for a 5.1 system and not 2 channel, looking back at it i somewhat regret not going with the NAD gear, but i think my headphone setup is destined for a c525bee or a c542 in the near future

I have a 302 Integrated that I've had around for ages it seems. I don't use it anymore but I don't have the heart to get rid of it. It drove a nice little pair of Paradigm speakers in a second system for quite a while. Always loved the sound of that system. For what I paid for it the sound was remarkable. Not too shabby a headphone amp either. No sir...

Hi guys

The NAD 320BEE and its recent revamp 325BEE are very highly recommended for a budget yet excellent sounding amp.
In your opinion, do the higher models (352, 372) have the same type of sound signature which are essentially higher power versions, or are they quite different beasts.

Also, which type of speakers do you think pairs nicely with NAD components? I know PSB has a close relationship with NAD. I get the feeling NAD isnt exactly a "bright" sounding amp, so would more bright and detailed sounding speakers be a good match for NAD components?

BTW, do any of you use the headphone out of your NAD to drive your headphones? If the headphone out is decent, that would save me getting an amp for sometime.
(I'm deciding between NAD vs Trends TA-10 amp with for my desktop PC listening.)

Thanks in advance

I don't consider myself experienced, but I know a good system when I hear one. And I think NAD offers you a lot for not much money.

Not sure about older models, but as far as I know NAD CDP doesn't have headphone out (Marantz does).

I've been using NAD in my system for a while now. It started with a C272 Power amp but I have since upgraded to their Masters Series M3 integrated - which to my ears sounds incredible. They make great pieces.

The headphone out on my nad integrated isn't bad, but my corda aria is better, so I use that. Having said that, one could do a lot worse than a quality pair of cans driven by the nad.
