This is crazy - WHERE IS MY REMOTE?
Jul 10, 2007 at 2:22 PM Post #16 of 23
I had 7 remotes in regular use in the lounge room so bought a big touch screen learning remote. Only $100 AUD from dick smith. Then I wrapped it in big thick foam, with a hole for the screen and the transmitter, so when my wife drops it, it won't get damaged. It's huge and unloseable.

Glad you got yours back.

I'm not good at remembering where I put stuff. When I was in college, I was very lucky to have a flatmate who got good attention to details. Instead of looking around for my stuff (key, wallet, watch, etc) I just ask him if he knew where my stuff is

Agreed same here; Nothing reminds me of the power of god, as when I lose or misplace stuff, as I loudly call upon his name in vain!

Or just attach a bit longer string from the remote to the monitor, or from the remote to where you sit.

but what if you loose your monitor?

I have always found that anything that is misplaced is exactly in the last place you look.

Also mostly in the last place you left it, but that is not always correct if someone else moves it later
