the response has been overwhelmingly positive, lots of trades so far...you wouldn't believe how many stock earbuds there are out there!

the more people we all tell and the more people that take advantage of it the better the chances are of us doing it again with more models.

some especially hot deals are:

$25 off of the PXC250 that is being sold for $95 on Amazon is a ridiculous rebate- in a good way. ...over 1/4 off!

sport series: MX75, $29.89 from Amazon with $10.00 back...almost 1/3 off.

PX100 on HeadRoom- $10 back, or 40 bucks after a trade.

Even the $5 rebate has been hot, as people have figured out that the can send the earbuds in the least expensive envelope that they have laying around. Also, we're getting submissions from people's places of work, meaning that they're not paying postage at all, and instead the company is paying for it (i'm not saying i condone it, but it is clever)...turns out they were going to upgrade anyways, so we saved them some $$.

So, what happens to the trade-ins? Do they get recycled?
Is this a way of gaining mass access to the technology used in all the competitors' products?

Not that Sennheiser needs to resort to such tactics in order to develop great products.

to answer the last few questions-- you can exchange any headphones from any brand...even if they are broken. we've seen all sorts come in, lots of sony, lots of apple. we don't use them for anything as we have all the technology we need in germany/singapore/ireland. we have a 3rd party handle the disposal of the spares.

$222.25 - $15 rebate on the brings IE7s to $207.25 + shipping at fullcompass.com.

Alternatively, the IE6s would come to $170 + shipping.

Best deals seem to be on the PXC though. If you got a Google Checkout Coupon in the mail, you can get the PXC150 from buy.com for $79.99, use the $20 off $80 or $25 off $75 coupon, then submit the $25 sennheiser rebate. This brings it down to $30!!

that's some good math-- the deals are there for everyone-- I just hope you take advantage of them!
