Thinking of entering Grado town, recommendations for first Grado?

The SA5k is harsh out of solid state and some tube stuff I've heard, but really isn't at all if you get the right tube amp (like the darkvoice).

one more thing... IMHO you should really consider the A250 as well. The koss blowout is over, but they show up on ebay every now and then. A GREAT sounding can in the ~$100 price. Synnergizes very well with either my millet or earmax. I have some Amperex A-frame 6DJ8s supposed to be a bassy yet forward and aggresisve sounding tube. expectations are high with my Grados and A250.
