Does the out_asio(dll).dll still work with 5.5 ?

Yes, all the plugins I have still work including ASIO. I do, however use the out_asio(exe).exe version.

I love the new interface! If you add the two lines necessary into your IE security settings or host file so that the ads don't show up, its an amazing program. With the Flac plugin and the ASIO out, it sounds wonderful. Milkdrop 2 is my favorite visualization ever, I have it customized to my favorite presets already. Foobar is only used for masstagging and conversion now.

Homerun for winamp, I still can't believe the ads, mostly for tampax. Shame for that.

And where can I find instructions for this?

Also does 5.5 still run CD's thru Kmixer even with ASIO like 5 does ?

ASIO does run through kmixer still. If you want to do straight kernel streaming, their is a plugin for that too. It does not go through Kmixer. Personally, I like wave_out just as much with my speakers on winamp, it helps milkdrop perform better. On headphones, I'd rather use foobar2000 still probably. I'd also recommend grabbing the crossfeed plugin for winamp and foobar for headphones. Its fairly good.

Normal or SSE2 ? What's your setting ?
I use default settings for it and Audio Creation Mode for X-Fi.
But when I enable Bit-Matched Playback, I can't use any effect like bass boost

For you guys that have the ASIO plug-in working in 5.5, which sound cards are you using? I've got the Chaintech AV-710 and it's a no-go.
